First Muse - Noire

The last and final version of my First Muse. Candidly, this was the design I had in mind when I just started on the project, but it took completing 3 other version before finding my way here. Over 80,000 (apple pencil) brushstrokes and 100+ hours in total was spent on this piece and it really forced me to learn shading and depth perception. I look forward to looking back at this some time from now, and finding all the things I'd do differently in the future, nonetheless. 

Please note, the bright colors of this piece on your screen do get a bit muted when printed on canvas, so the painting is best suited for rooms with darker tones.  Looks great in a rich mahogany-filled home office, bedroom or perhaps a bit of a conversation piece for the living room? I certainly don't judge.
